I just read a fabulous article by Jeremiah Owyang: Web Strategy Matrix: Google Buzz vs Facebook vs MySpace vs Twitter (Feb 2010), and as I was trying to leave a comment I was caught by an infinite loop of a rotating validation process, more or less like the mac multicolor circle that killed my imac and drove me crazy as I kept following the pace of the hypnotic spell.
So I figured if I can't cope with commenting on others peoples blogs just jet due to technical difficulties, I'll post the comment here:
For some reason the buzz hasn't kicked in Europe, at least not in Spain, or at least not in my account. I'm not really sure why wave didn't kick in, and won't it happen again now? I think if it integrates nicely with the way people use gmail it might get that spark needed to create the emergence to lift off.
Certainly, it's a good benchmark to see how the big ones try to get break through with new services, as I think there will be more contenders with different angles providing plain old good platforms that make some part of our lives easier or better.
At the end, the variable is always time and what helps you manage it better to achieve your goals, and hopefully, simplify the way we can move faster towards achieving collective social emergence in a more efficient way than wa are able today.
Thanks for the great analysis and strategic insight!
So there, that was me trying to be social and reaching out to conversations that are out there at the crest of the wave (not the googlewave seems to me). I'll try to set our an expedition to reach out one by one, pay a visit to those adding value to the debate, and present myself humbly into the scenario, the way my parents taught me to introduce myself to guests and speak my mind with freedom and respect.
Today I followed a whole bunch of these people I intend to keep track of on my twitter account, and I was very excited to find out that from that action I received a whole bunch of people that now follow me, including the man Guy Kawasaki, who's book The art of start I've been carrying in my bag ever since I started to think in an entrepreneurial state of mind.
It happened all over again, the processing eternal loop as I was trying to embeded this video from the man. It is actually a nightmare that has been haunting me down along with the photography overload. But I am on my way to fix it. That's all the buzz I have for now.
